Dolores Catania has shared her insights on the tentative reconciliation between Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga, suggesting that “resentment” and a “lack of trust” will linger despite their efforts. Additionally, Dolores disclosed her minimal involvement in the Real Housewives of Rhode Island series.

Earlier this year, Teresa and Melissa decided to mend their relationship after a prolonged feud, a move that elicited mixed reactions from fans. While some were pleased to witness their reconciliation, others speculated that their renewed friendship might be a strategic attempt to return to the Real Housewives of New Jersey, which has been on a break since 2024.

During an appearance on Housewives Nightcap, Dolores commented on the dynamics of Teresa and Melissa’s reconciliation.

“Sometimes in life, you experience a major fallout, a significant argument. Then, something happens, and you just start talking again,” Dolores explained. “You pick up where you left off, but there’s always some resentment. There’s always that lack of trust… It’s like there’s always something at the back of your mind.”

But Dolores said she’ll support their reconciliation “however they need to do it” – and suggested it’s genuine.

“The cast isn’t back, and [Teresa and Melissa are] still friendly, and they seem to be having the holidays together,” said Dolores. “Let’s look at it this way too. You have that friend that you don’t see for like a year, and you pick up where you left off.”

At one point in the interview, Dolores addressed her involvement on the Real Housewives of Rhode Island.

“Liz McGraw is somebody on there, you’re gonna think she’s hilarious,” said Dolores. “She’s so funny and so real. But all the girls are really real. They were really nice to me. They embraced me.”

But Dolores shared that she’s only in a “few cameos.”

“They didn’t have me on as much as I would have liked it,” she explained. “But … they were like, ‘Well you’re Jersey. But you know, you’re friends with Liz, so we’re gonna have you [appear] here and there.”

Throughout the years, Dolores has remained friends with both Teresa and Melissa – despite their many feuds. But after the last season (when the sisters-in-law seemingly refused to film together) Dolores thought at the time that their relationship was over for good.
