Amidst addressing her thoughts on Dorit Kemsley’s comments regarding her ongoing divorce and custody issues with her estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, Amanda, 40, detailed her career while reminiscing about a dinner with her co-stars.
“That evening, I thought, ‘Oh dear, they seemed perplexed, but I believed we had sorted it out.’ Unbeknownst to me, it remained unresolved,” Amanda shared during an episode of the RHOBH: After Show.
Meanwhile, Kathy Hilton, 66, confessed she was unaware of Amanda’s profession, and Rachel Zoe, 54, claimed to have no memory of Amanda discussing it. However, Dorit speculated that Kyle Richards, 57, might have more insight, given her extensive time spent with Amanda.
Then, as Kathy Hilton, 66, admitted she had “no idea” what Amanda does, and Rachel Zoe, 54, said she had “zero recollection” of their castmate speaking of the matter, Dorit suspected Kyle Richards, 57, may have a better understanding since she’d “spent a lot of time with Amanda.”
“I know you wrote a book. I know you have an online business where you’re teaching people how to save their money [and] create their wealth,” Kyle stated.
“Kind of,” Amanda replied. “[It’s an] online business. We primarily create digital courses. Money Mindset is a thing I’m known for, but my background in therapy, I take the psychology and the emotional and the energetic side first. It’s kind of like my thing. So there’s that, but then there’s just business courses for online business owners, so online marketing, online sales, how to create your own digital source, a course on how to self-publish your own book.”
Even Bozoma “Boz” Saint John, 48, was left feeling confused.
“I thought I had an understanding of what she does, and then I saw it in practice, and I was like, I do not understand what she does, so I was hoping for some clarity,” she stated.
Looking back on the confusion, Amanda wondered why it was “so hard” for her co-stars to understand.
“Never in my life has anyone had a hard time understanding it until this group,” she noted.
During another segment of the RHOBH: After Show, Amanda doubled down on her thoughts about the negative comments Dorit made about PK.
“All of us in co-parenting relationships absolutely have to work hard to preserve that relationship and not say things that can get back to that person. Because it’s about the kids, really,” she reasoned. “When I said yeah, she probably shouldn’t talk bad about him, that was a true opinion, that’s a real opinion, that’s a logical opinion. But I have to tell you that at that moment, the compassion was the way bigger part of me … [And] everyone at that table with me was in agreeance.”
While Jennifer Tilly, 67, acknowledged that she doesn’t know PK, she said she considered Dorit a friend.
“So, to say perhaps she shouldn’t be doing this, it’s myself feeling like, wanting to be protective of Dorit, because we don’t want her to say something she’s going to regret in the future,” she explained. “It just seems, like, unwise … You’re going down a bad road.”
“I don’t think you should speak poorly of your children’s father. I’m not talking about, like, publicly or not. I just think it’s a great testament to who you are as a person if you can just not say anything,” added Sutton Stracke, 54.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
