BRUNSWICK, Ga. — Authorities reported that one individual was injured and subsequently hospitalized following a shooting in Brunswick, as confirmed by the Glynn County Police Department on Tuesday.

According to GCPD, officers were dispatched early Monday evening to the Morning Tide Apartments in response to a “domestic disturbance report.” During their journey, they received information about gunfire in the area.

Upon reaching the scene, officers discovered a man with a gunshot wound. Glynn County Fire Rescue promptly attended to him, and he was taken to a nearby hospital. The extent of his injuries remains undisclosed at this time.

Detectives from the GCPD secured the scene and began questioning those involved, along with any witnesses present.
