Whitney Rose took a bold stand against Meredith Marks during a recent podcast, accusing her of deceit. This confrontation followed the first part of the The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion, where tensions flared between the two over mutual accusations. Whitney, 39, criticized Meredith, 54, for being duplicitous and labeled her as the “weakest link” on their show.

“I had to confront her about her dishonesty,” Whitney remarked during her January 15 appearance on Obsessed: The Podcast. “The reunion wasn’t just about rumors of Meredith’s drinking or pill use; it was about her lack of transparency. She wasn’t being truthful about anything happening in her life.”

“When someone constantly shouts ‘liar,’ they’re often deflecting their issues onto others,” she added. “It’s more about her conduct and how she presents herself.”

“The person [who] yells ‘liar’ the loudest, ‘lies, liar,’ anyone who defaults to that is putting up a shield of defense. And they’re projecting their own stuff onto everyone else. So it was more about her behavior and the way that she’s showing up,” she continued.

Looking back at BravoCon, Whitney said she gave Meredith a hug because they were friendly off-camera.

“Here’s the thing about Meredith: When the cameras are down, she’s a completely different person,” Whitney alleged. “The minute the cameras come up, she turns into this lack of personality, she argues in semantics, and she just becomes ‘Meredith Marks.’ But when the cameras are down, she’s my friend.”

Going into the reunion, Whitney said that after Meredith took her kindness at BravoCon and “spun it and twisted it against [her],” she knew she “needed to strike first.”

“And I did,” she explained, “because I had to call her out on her BS and her lies.”

According to Whitney, Meredith is not only problematic as a person who is part of their friend group, but also for the show as a whole.

“We’re an ensemble cast. We’re a team. A group of friends. You’re only as good as your weakest link, and Meredith is our weakest link,” Whitney stated. “She doesn’t share her life, she doesn’t show up in truth, and she is a really grumpy, angry, ornery person most of the time, and so it’s kind of like that wet blanket that you’re just carrying around.”

“[She’s] like dead weight,” she added.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season six reunion, part two, airs Tuesday, January 20, at 8/7c on Bravo.
