The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) recently apprehended another activist linked to the disruption of a church service in St. Paul, Minnesota, which left the congregation visibly shaken. This incident has drawn significant attention, highlighting the tensions surrounding immigration enforcement in the U.S.
William Kelly, known online as DaWokeFarmer, was taken into custody by the FBI on Thursday. He now faces charges of conspiracy to deprive rights and violations of the FACE Act. These charges stem from his involvement in the January 18 episode where a group of anti-ICE protesters interrupted a service at Cities Church.
The protesters, captured on video, alleged that a senior member of Cities Church was also an ICE agent, sparking outrage among attendees. Kelly’s arrest follows those of Nekima Levy Armstrong, accused of organizing the disruption, and Chauntyll Louisa Allen, who was actively involved in the protest. Both were previously detained by the FBI, underscoring the seriousness of the incident.
In the days following the church invasion, Kelly drew additional attention by openly challenging Attorney General Pam Bondi. Through a series of expletive-laden social media posts, he dared authorities to arrest him, seemingly unfazed by the possibility of legal repercussions.
In one of his posts, Kelly stated, “Yesterday, I went into a church with Nikema Armstrong, and I protested these white supremacists. The pastor of the church is a fucking ICE leader in the city. How can you be a fucking pastor and be a fucking ICE agent?” His words reflect the intense emotions and complex narratives fueling such protests.
“Yesterday, I went into a church with Nikema Armstrong, and I protested these white supremacists,” Kelly said. “The pastor of the church is a fucking ICE leader in the city. How can you be a fucking pastor and be a fucking ICE agent?”
“Fuck ’em. They want to come after me, fuck ’em. How can they live so comfortably while the fucking people from Somalia that are in this country legally, they have fucking citizenship, can’t even go to their mosque and pray,” Kelly continued. “Fuck those fucking Nazis, come and get me Pam Bondi, you fucking traitorous bitch.”
