A young man from Oklahoma, aged 19, has been taken into custody following the alleged murder of his elder brother on Sunday.
According to KFOR, William Spencer and his 25-year-old sibling, Nicholas Spencer, were engaged in a video game session when a heated argument erupted over the game, leading to the fatal incident.
Oklahoma City Police Master Sgt. Gary Knight described the incident as “extremely tragic.”
“Two brothers were involved in a video game session,” Knight explained. “One got upset over the game, lost his temper, and fatally stabbed the other.”
Following the incident, William Spencer dialed 911 and stayed at the location, as confirmed by police Master Sgt. Rob Robertson.
“The calling person called in and said they had just stabbed their brother,” Robertson said. “Officers got here and found a male with serious stab wounds.”
Nicholas Spencer was pronounced dead at a hospital.
His brother has been charged with first degree murder and is being held on a $10 million bail, jail records show.
