AUGUSTA, Ga. () – Officers from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 1700 block of Susan Circle following reports of a fatal shooting on Thursday, resulting in the death of one individual.

When authorities arrived around 5 p.m. on January 22, they discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency Medical Services attended to the scene and subsequently notified the Richmond County Coroner’s office. An autopsy has been arranged to determine further details.

The Sheriff’s Office has identified 21-year-old Isaiah Romont Santos Thomas as the suspect in this murder investigation.

Thomas is currently considered to be armed and dangerous, prompting the authorities to advise caution.
