Kim Kardashian is embracing a more personalized approach to her daughter’s education, opting for a unique homeschooling experience.

In a recent appearance on her sister Khloé Kardashian’s podcast, “Khloé in Wonderland,” the 45-year-old reality television star revealed how she is tailoring her 12-year-old daughter North West’s learning journey. During the January 21 episode, Kim shared insights into North’s education, which revolves around a curriculum designed to match her interests, especially in brand building.

Kim explained that North is engaged in “realistic courses” that cater to her creative inclinations. “She had an idea of making hats and jewelry,” Kim elaborated, “so we turned it into a course.” This personalized approach allows North to explore her passions within an educational framework.

The founder of SKIMS expressed her joy in witnessing her daughter thrive in this customized learning environment, noting, “It’s been so fun to see her blossom.”

“[She] had an idea of making hats and making jewelry … so we made it a course,” Kim said, explaining how North’s creativity has shaped her classroom curriculum.

“It’s been so fun to see her blossom,” the SKIMS founder added.

In addition to brand development, North is also taking a music course. The preteen recently shared a snippet of a new song titled “Piercing on My Hand (Ye Version)” on her Instagram Stories. The track, a collaboration with her father, Kanye West, touches on everything from self-expression to school.

“Piercing on my hand, the other holding bands / No friends, just filter, you wouldn’t understand,” North rapped in the clip. “Went to school for two days, then I got banned / Skipping school, yeah, I do it on the daily / Got some new rings, yeah, they’re so crazy.”

During the podcast, Khloé noted that North’s involvement in music has given Kim and her ex-husband something positive to bond over, adding that they appear to be “in a much better place because of that.”

“The music side and the producing isn’t my thing, and that’s her bonding with her dad,” Kim replied. “But we have to communicate about how North moves through this world.”

She added that “respecting his opinion on the things that go on with his kids is really important” to her.

Kim also addressed common assumptions about her parenting style, particularly the idea that she acts as North’s “best friend.”

“No, Northy actually has a lot of rules,” she said. “The one area is, I do let her express herself and I do let her do that. I love her for that. And she would do it regardless.”

Kim shares four children with Kanye West: North, 12; Saint, 10; Chicago, 8; and Psalm, 6.
