The gravelly-voiced culinary entrepreneur became a household name two decades ago after clinching victory on Food Network’s hit competition series, Next Food Network Star.

This triumph paved the way for him to host his own show on the esteemed cable network.

Since his initial success, this culinary innovator has carved out a significant niche in the industry, hosting several highly-rated television programs, one of which earned him an Emmy Award.

His ventures have culminated in a formidable food and beverage empire, valued at approximately $100 million.

On January 22, he took to Instagram to unveil a daring new appearance in honor of his 58th birthday, exclaiming, “Happy birthday to me!” in the video caption.

The conservative-looking guy with the brown hairdo is none other than celebrity chef Guy Fieri of Diners, Drive Ins & Dives and Guy’s Ranch Kitchen and other TV endeavors.

The video showed Fieri dressed in business casual style that included a checkered shirt buttoned up to the collar and khaki slacks belted at his healthy-sized waistline.

The most bizarre – or ridiculous – sight was the brown side-parted hairdo and clean-shaved face. Gone was Fieri’s signature spiky blond hair and trendy beard, and also absent was the biker-inspired jewelry.

‘Hey there! After so many years of celebrating my birthday as Guy, I figured this year I’d celebrate it as just a guy. Happy birthday to me!’ Fieri said before blowing out the candles on his birthday cake.

‘New Year. New Guy. New Look,’ he captioned the clip.

Fieri, who is known for being a practical joker on his Food Network shows, elicited a wave of comical responses with his social media share.

The Mayor of Flavortown’s 29-year-old son, Hunter, ribbed him by writing in the comments, ‘Dad… when did you start selling insurance?’ Fieri is also dad to son, Ryder, 20, with wife Lori Fieri.

Maneet Chauhan, a Food Network judge and two-time winner on Fieri’s Tournament of Champions, wrote: ‘It’s your b’day and you give us the gift of laughter! This is amazing Happy Happy Happy B’day @guyfieri.’

Fieri’s son Hunter, 29, wrote in the comments, ‘Dad… when did you start selling insurance?’

The humorous birthday post comes after Fieri opened up about his horrendous fall down a flight of steps last November that left him with a torn quad muscle and in need of a wheelchair to get around.

He described the injury as the ‘worst thing he’s been through’ in two decades, adding that he has been sure to take medical advice on his recovery.

He told People:  ‘My doctors are all like, “We know you want to get after it, but let’s not go back to where we were.”

‘And I’m like, “We are never going back to that!” That was the worst thing I’ve been through in the last 20 years.

‘But now I’ll be up and ready and healthy and rolling by the time we hit the Super Bowl for sure.’

The Food Network star is set to house his Flavortown Tailgate party for the Super Bowl on February 8.

He was filming his latest series Flavor Town Food Fight when ‘one foot went forward and the other foot got caught on the threshold,’ which sent him down the stairs and caused the brutal injury.

Fieri underwent surgery just before Thanksgiving, but he’s ‘doing better’ in the weeks after the accident.

He said: ‘I’m doing better. It was definitely a trying holiday, but you know what, you get some real appreciation for having the ability to just get up and walk around and do everything you used to.

‘I’m a big CrossFit and hiking guy, so eight weeks of no hiking has driven me kind of crazy. But I’m looking forward to it, trying to take it easy.’

Fieri was told to stay off his feet for eight weeks, and he will then wear a cast while undergoing rehab.

In late November, he told Fox News Digital: ‘Eight weeks of no weight on it, crutches and a cast and then the rehab, which to me – I want to get after it as fast as possible.’
