Victoria Beckham reportedly feels a deep sense of betrayal following Brooklyn’s recent revelations about his family’s dynamics. After years of shielding him from negative press, she’s faced with his candid comments and surprising dance revelations.
This unexpected development unfolded as Brooklyn, the 26-year-old eldest of the Beckham children, spoke out about the ongoing family rift. He expressed a lack of desire to mend ties, describing his parents as “controlling and manipulative,” which has left him with “overwhelming anxiety.”
Brooklyn further criticized the family, stating that “Brand Beckham” takes precedence and accusing them of prioritizing public image over genuine family values.
Throughout the years, Victoria, now 51, has diligently worked to protect Brooklyn from stories that might have cast him in an unfavorable light.
According to insiders, the renowned fashion designer typically aims to avoid family disputes. However, she believes that Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, 30, have been acting unreasonably in this situation.
They said: ‘Victoria feels betrayed because she’s done everything she can to make them both feel welcome and love Nicola like another daughter.’

In the shock update, the oldest Beckham sibling, 26, said he has no wishes to reconcile with his family and called his parents ‘controlling and manipulative’
The source added to The Mirror: ‘But she feels it’s been thrown back in her face. She would normally do anything to avoid a family fallout, but she thinks they’re both being unreasonable.’Â
Daily Mail has contacted the Beckhams representative for comment. Â
The Daily Mail’s Katie Hind previously explained how the Beckhams’ camp ‘leapt into overdrive in Brooklyn’s defence’ when stories such as kiss and tells and tales of him being ‘involved him with the wrong crowd’ surfaced.Â
His parents have often instructed expensive lawyers to protect him against such stories.Â
David and Victoria would ‘take back Brooklyn back in a minute’ and are said to be ‘horrified’ by events this week, according to another source.
The eldest son of the Beckham clan went nuclear on their long-running feud on Monday by posting a scathing six-page statement to his Instagram and accused his parents of intentionally trying to ruin his relationship to wife Nicola.
Now, a new source reportedly close to the famous couple has said they would welcome their son back into the fold ‘anytime he wants to reunite with them’ – as they are ‘afraid’ of losing him forever.
The insider said:Â ‘They are afraid of losing their son and would take him back in a minute. They are a close family, too. Just in a different way than Nicola’s family is.’Â

The source continued to tell PEOPLE: ‘They love Brooklyn and are horrified about everything.’
Meanwhile, a second source added to the publication:Â ‘David and Victoria believe time will heal this.
‘They know over time that Brooklyn will come back. They can’t really do anything until then.’Â
In his scathing post, Brooklyn had accused Victoria of ‘dancing inappropriately’ on him during his 2022 nuptials to Nicola.
Their wedding DJ Fat Tony finally recounted the exact detail of the dance during an appearance on This Morning.Â
The 60-year-old branded the incident ‘really awkward’ and confirmed that Nicola fled the reception in tears.Â
Tony, a longtime friend of the Beckhams, claimed that Marc Anthony was to blame, revealing the musician had called Victoria to the dance floor with her son and instructed him, ‘place your hands on your mother’s hips’. Â
He said: ‘There was no slut-dropping, there was no PVC cat suits, no Spice Girl action!
‘The word “inappropriate”, why I said it was as well, it was the timing, this is what happened.’
Tony continued: ‘What happened was, basically, Marc Anthony was performing on stage, he then called Brooklyn onto stage.Â
‘Brooklyn went on to the stage, and the next minute everyone’s expecting Nicola to go up and do the first dance, and then Marc asked for the most beautiful woman in the room to come to the stage – and then he says “Victoria, come to the stage”.’Â
He revealed that Brooklyn looked ‘devastated’ at the fact his first dance was with Victoria and not his wife, adding that Nicola left the room ‘crying her eyes out’.
It comes as their wedding DJ Fat Tony finally recounted the exact detail of the dance during an appearance on This Morning after Brooklyn had accused Victoria of ‘dancing inappropriately’
Tony went on: ‘Brooklyn is stuck there on stage, and they do this dance, and Marc Anthony says “put your hands on your mother’s hips” and it was a Latin thing, and the whole situation was really awkward for everyone in the room…
‘I’ve done an awful lot of Beckham parties in the past, and they are a very dancing close-knit family and love to dance, right? So you know, what we deem as “inappropriate” is not how Brooklyn feels.Â
‘This is all about how Brooklyn feels. If he feels that it was inappropriate and awkward, it was inappropriate and awkward.
‘What’s sad is that this is the bit that everyone’s taken from the statement, and kind of whitewashed everything else that went on.’Â
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail, the DJ said at one point Brooklyn’s hands were on his mother’s waist while her arms were placed around his neck.
‘The timing was inappropriate for me. It was meant to be a bride and groom’s moment,’ he told us.
‘I’m not speaking bad about either party in it, I’m just putting the narrative straight about the dance.’ Â
