The clip resurfaced after Peltz ‘liked’ a social media post from DJ Fat Tony, who publicly sided with Brooklyn’s account of that ‘inappropriate dance’ involving his mom.

The 60-year-old DJ, who performed at Brooklyn and Nicola’s April 2022 wedding, called the moment ‘really awkward’ and confirmed that Nicola fled the reception in tears during an interview this week.

On Saturday, Tony posted an update to Instagram reflecting on ‘unconditional love,’ sharing a snap of his pet dogs — with Nicola hitting the heart button in support.

Alongside the photo, taken during a stroll, he wrote: ‘It’s good to be back home today. Thought of the day… the power of unconditional love.’

Nicola’s like shows the pair remain close friends, even after Tony spoke out about the Beckham family drama on TV.

The feud reignited earlier this week when Brooklyn went nuclear, posting a scathing six-page Instagram statement accusing his parents of trying to sabotage his marriage to Nicola.

During an appearance on This Morning, Fat Tony recounted the controversial dance in detail.

A longtime family friend, Tony said Marc Anthony had orchestrated the moment, calling Victoria to the dance floor and instructing Brooklyn to ‘place your hands on your mother’s hips.’

He clarified: ‘There was no slut-dropping, there was no PVC cat suits, no Spice Girl action! The word ‘inappropriate,’ why I said it was as well, it was the timing, this is what happened.’

Tony continued: ‘What happened was, basically, Marc Anthony was performing on stage, he then called Brooklyn onto stage. Brooklyn went on to the stage, and the next minute everyone’s expecting Nicola to do the first dance, and then Marc asked for the most beautiful woman in the room to come to the stage — and then he says, ‘Victoria, come to the stage.’’

He added that Brooklyn looked ‘devastated’ that his first dance was with Victoria instead of his wife, revealing Nicola left the room ‘crying her eyes out.’

Tony went on: ‘Brooklyn is stuck there on stage, and they do this dance, and Marc Anthony says ‘put your hands on your mother’s hips’ and it was a Latin thing, and the whole situation was really awkward for everyone in the room…

‘I’ve done an awful lot of Beckham parties in the past, and they are a very dancing close-knit family and love to dance, right? So you know, what we deem as ‘inappropriate’ is not how Brooklyn feels.

‘This is all about how Brooklyn feels. If he feels that it was inappropriate and awkward, it was inappropriate and awkward. What’s sad is that this is the bit that everyone’s taken from the statement, and kind of whitewashed everything else that went on.’

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail, Tony said that at one point Brooklyn’s hands were on his mother’s waist while her arms were around his neck.

‘The timing was inappropriate for me. It was meant to be a bride and groom’s moment,’ he told the outlet.

‘I’m not speaking bad about either party in it, I’m just putting the narrative straight about the dance.’
