Neo Langston, known as a friend of the R&B artist D4vd, has recently found himself in legal trouble. According to a report by TMZ, Langston was apprehended in Montana due to an outstanding warrant from another state, stemming from his alleged failure to appear in court as a witness.

Authorities booked Langston into the Lewis & Clark County Jail, where he remains held without the option of bail. The active warrant for his arrest prompted law enforcement action, as detailed in the report.
The Helena police confirmed to TMZ that they collaborated with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide Division to detain Langston. This division is spearheading the ongoing investigation linked to D4vd, whose real identity is David Anthony Burke.
Prior to Langston’s arrest, TMZ noted that a grand jury witness in the case had been labeled “uncooperative.” This was highlighted by a December 10th exchange in a hallway between Deputy District Attorney Beth Silverman and attorney Evan Jenness. Jenness, as reported, represents both the unnamed witness and Robert Morgenroth, who oversees D4vd’s touring company and manages his record label.
Robert Morgenroth was reportedly brought before a grand jury earlier in the month for questioning, further entangling the web of this ongoing investigation.
It remains unclear whether Langston is the witness described as uncooperative in the Celeste Rivas Hernandez case.
The body of Hernandez, 14, was found in the trunk of D4vd’s Tesla on Sept. 8, according to police. The teen had been missing from Lake Elsinore since April 2024, when she was 13. The potential relationship between D4vd, 20, and Rivas Hernandez has been a crucial part of the investigation to date.
Langston has appeared in photos with D4vd and was previously known online as a Twitch streamer under the name NeoTheAsian.
