A former professional golfer, now a prominent social media influencer, has recently unveiled a fresh appearance after a hiatus from Instagram.

Paige Spiranac, who commands a following of over four million on Instagram, had not made any posts since October, with her last update being a promotional piece for the chat application, Group Me.

On Saturday, she re-emerged on the platform X, sharing an image of herself sporting curly hair and a new fringe.

“Life update. I got bangs,” she announced.

Her fans quickly showered her with compliments on the updated hairstyle.

“Beautiful,” one social media user commented.

Another said: “Don’t know who you are or why this is on my timeline. But I have no regrets. Lookin’ good.”

“I like them. They change your look totally,” one said.

One said: “The power of a hair transformation is real. Major shift.”

“I like it, very Farrah Fawcett like,” another added.

One commented: “Paige, love the curls.”

“What the!!!!! I love the crap outta this!!!!! Cute and pretty!!!!!!! Yyyeahhhhhhh,” another social media user said.

Spiranac had a successful career at Arizona and San Diego State universities.

She then played professionally on the Cactus Tour, winning her first professional title in 2016. She also played in the Omega Dubai Ladies Masters on the Ladies European Tour.

However she stepped away from professionally playing in 2016 after failing to qualify for the LPGA Tour.

While she still plays, she mostly earns a living being the “original golf girl” on social media.

She recently stepped away from social media following a cheating scandal at the internet Invitational, which is a six-episode series on YouTube hosted by Barstool Sports and Bob Does Sports.

Spiranac was one of 48 golf content creators and during the final round of the event, Spiranac was seen brushing grass aside in the deep rough on the ninth hole.

It allowed another player on her team to get a clearer shot on the ball, the Post reported.

With cameras all around the footage was shown to the other team who confronted the 32-year-old on the green.

Spiranac broke down in tears, claiming she did not know the rule, and since her team had lost the hole, the matter was eventually put to rest.

She said she was embarrassed she didn’t know the rule and had to step away from social media because of the level of vitriol she was facing.
