With one hand casually tucked in her pocket and the other embracing a friend, Victoria Beckham flashed her signature smile—honed over years in the spotlight—directly at the camera.
Her eyes exuded a warm but determined gaze as she stood beside the bandmates she’s cherished for over three decades. Despite the recent turmoil in her personal life, Victoria seemed intent on setting aside her troubles for the sake of the photograph.
The occasion was Emma Bunton’s intimate 50th birthday celebration, and it arrived at a challenging time for Victoria, just five days after her son Brooklyn made shocking allegations about her on social media. Nonetheless, she chose to honor her friend’s significant milestone.
“The Beckhams’ mantra is to keep moving forward,” shared a close friend of the couple.
Indeed, the 51-year-old fashion designer was among 30 guests, accompanied by her husband, Sir David Beckham, at Emma’s lavish, floral-themed dinner held at Soho Farmhouse on Saturday night.
Just a stone’s throw from where she’d been holed-up at her Cotswolds home, Victoria and David – just back from Davos – dressed up and ventured out in their first social engagement since their eldest son accused them of ‘controlling’ him and trying to ‘endlessly ruin’ his marriage to Nicola Peltz.

Victoria captioned the post: ‘Happy birthday to the most beautiful soul. I love you girls so much’
Earlier this week, Brooklyn launched a blistering attack on his parents in a six-page statement
‘They’ve all felt desperate sadness since last Monday. It has smashed their hearts to pieces but David and Victoria show up when they say they will,’ said the friend.
‘There was some uncertainly about Emma’s birthday but they adore her, she is very special to them.’
While many of the guests at the dinner, which included fellow Spice Girls Geri Horner, 53, and Mel C, 52, All Saints star Nicole Appleton, 51, Holly Willoughby, 44, and Leigh Francis, 52, stayed on site at the main Farmhouse, others travelled in for the evening.
The house, which sleeps 14, costs upwards of £5,000 a night and comes with seven en-suite bathrooms, a kitchen, garden and dining room.
Others who came for the evening were met by a milk float at the entrance, which drove them straight up to the party.
The Beckhams, who live down the road and are regulars at the exclusive members-only venue, are believed to have made their own way into the party so as not to have been spotted.
The friends and family dinner, which included Emma’s husband Jade Jones, 46, their children Beau, 18, and Tate, 14, and her mother Pauline, was hosted in the venue’s Glasshouse – a private event space made of steel and glass.
Ahead of the event, a long table was set up with 30 seats and decorated with brightly-coloured floral arrangements and candles.
Despite the pared-back and carefully-selected guestlist, the party certainly wasn’t a sedate affair, with a free bar and free-flowing Picantes – a staple Soho House cocktail made of tequila, agave nectar, lime juice, coriander and chili peppers.
Chants of ‘Baby’s celebrating 50’ could be heard and a live DJ set up after dinner so that guests could hit the dancefloor.
David Beckham commented on his wife’s post, gushing: ‘This made me so happy. I can only imagine how the spice girls fans feel’

The party in the Glasshouse wound down around 1am and some of the group burst out singing You and Me Song by The Wannadies, which was released in 1994.
While those who were staying off-site headed home, others continued the celebrations in their own cottages.
It may have been a party to celebrate to Emma – living up to her Baby Spice nickname in a pale pink trousers suit and with her blonde hair long and straight – but it was also a showing of support for Victoria and Victoria for her friends.
The designer shared the image of herself with Emma, Mel C and Geri, to her Instagram account – her first proper post since Brooklyn’s statement – wishing a happy birthday ‘to the most beautiful soul.’
And tagging Mel and Geri – Mel B notably absent – Victoria, wearing a chic but understated black trouser suit and white camisole, said: ‘I love you girls so much.’
They reposted the picture and shared Victoria’s sentiments; a very public display of their loyalty and long-lasting bond some 30 years after their rise to fame.
For his part, Sir David, 50, commented underneath: ‘This made me so happy. I can only imagine how Spice Girls fans must feel. Special night celebrating Emma.’
All Saints star Nicole said she ‘loved seeing you all,’ while Holly said it had been ‘such a beautiful night’ with ‘so much love in the room.’
Standing steadfastly by their friends and by their work commitments, Sir David was at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland the day after his son launched a blistering attack on his parents in a six-page statement.
The humiliating post accused his parents of prioritising ‘Brand Beckham’ over all else and his mother of ‘hijacking’ his and his wife’s first dance at their 2022 wedding and dancing with him ‘inappropriately.’
He went on to accuse them of ‘disrespecting’ his wife and being concerned with ‘promotion and endorsements above all else.’
He slammed the ‘performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships’ that had been a ‘fixture of the life I was born into.’
Victoria, meanwhile, made sure she was there in person to celebrate Emma’s milestone birthday, proving her determination in honouring her commitments.
While their parents were partying in the Cotswolds, Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, were in Paris with their girlfriends Kim Turnbull, 30, and Jackie Apostel, 24, where they spent time as a foursome.
The two couples appeared to be closer than ever and putting on a united front as they all celebrated Romeo’s appearance at the Willy Chavarria fashion show, in which he appeared as a model.
They all went out for dinner at Kaspia restaurant on Saturday night and then went for breakfast together again the next morning.
Musician Cruz, who is gearing up for his first tour, shared a series of images on Instagram, including one which features his mother Victoria carrying him when he was a baby – a clear show of support.
They might still be navigating the public fallout of their private feud, but it seems certain that nothing will keep the Beckhams away from the lives they have created for themselves from the ground up, and the people that have helped get them there.
