Cardi B faced criticism after she was spotted celebrating her boyfriend Stefon Diggs’ advancement to the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Despite the harsh snowy conditions in Denver, Diggs played a crucial role in securing the New England Patriots a spot in next month’s championship by defeating the Broncos 10-7.

Following New England’s triumph, a video surfaced showing Cardi B enthusiastically shouting into a camera from the sidelines, exclaiming, “We’re going to the Super Bowl! Let’s go!”

Some viewers compared her excitement to that of Taylor Swift, known for supporting Travis Kelce at past Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs, commenting, “She’s more annoying than Taylor Swift.”

Fans were quick to express their displeasure, with one remarking, “She’s only a Pats fan because of Diggs,” while another simply added, “Ewwwww, she’s annoying.”

The Grammy Award winner later spoke to NBC10 Boston about the Patriots’ victory. ‘We all we got, we all we need,’ she said, referencing New England’s rallying cry. ‘Today was a perfect example of that. This stadium was so packed, and I’m not gonna lie, the Broncos have one of the best fan bases. This was so packed and jumping.’

She added: ‘But you know what, us Pats fans, we stuck together and we stuck it out and we won. We all we got, we all we need, like Mr. Diggs said.’

Ahead of Sunday’s AFC Championship game, Diggs paid tribute to his girlfriend for all her ‘support’ during his ongoing legal battles.

The 32-year-old is accused of felony strangulation or suffocation and misdemeanor assault and battery after an alleged incident involving his personal chef last month.

Through the Patriots, it was revealed that Diggs ‘categorically denies’ the allegations against him and MassLive.com recently quoted him as saying: ‘It’s been an emotional time. It’s definitely an open case so I can’t even say anything about it.’

The legal issues had threatened to derail the New England Patriots’ postseason but, earlier this month, Diggs’ arraignment date was pushed back until after Super Bowl LX.

He can now remain fully focused on football and on Wednesday, Diggs said: ‘I just appreciate the support. She’s an amazing supporter to me and the Patriots.

‘She wasn’t a football girl before I converted her over. I’m just thankful to have her in my corner and to continue to build that relationship… I don’t talk too much about my personal life but she’s an amazing woman.’

The rapper only began dating the wide receiver in early 2025. They went public with their relationship in May before welcoming a baby together in November.

Throughout the 2025 season, Cardi B has been spotted in the stands – both at home or on the road – cheering on her boyfriend, despite his off-field issues.

The wide receiver also faced allegations from social media influencer and clothing designer Chris Blake Griffith. He claimed Diggs tried to drug him, made unwanted sexual advances and later conspired to kill him.

In response, Diggs accused Griffith of concocting a lurid tale and sued him for defamation. Griffith has since filed a counterclaim, standing by his accusations against the former All-Pro.

Back in May, meanwhile, Diggs was seen partying aboard a boat in a viral clip that showed him handling a pink substance.

Then, earlier this week, it emerged that his ex-girlfriend is filing to dismiss a lawsuit over a paternity and child support claim against the NFL star.

In December 2024, Instagram model Aileen Lopera – also known as Lord Gisselle –filed the suit against Diggs, claiming that he was the father of her then-unborn child.

The baby was born in April, with Lopera naming her Charliee and giving her the NFL star’s last name. In November 2025, Diggs learned via a paternity test that he was indeed the father. On Wednesday, her lawyer, Tamar Arminak, told TMZ: ‘The matter has been resolved.

Now Diggs is accused of slapping and choking his personal chef during a financial argument at his residence in the Boston suburb of Dedham on December 2.

According to the incident report provided to the Daily Mail, the woman said Diggs entered her unlocked bedroom, grabbed her from behind and ‘tried to choke her using the crook of his elbow around her neck.’

She told police on December 16 she feared she ‘could have blacked out,’ before being thrown down onto the bed by Diggs. The accuser initially hesitated to identify Diggs to police ‘due to his fame,’ according to the incident report.

On January 5th, Cardi B became embroiled in the situation after offering her support to the Patriots star and appearing to take aim at the women involved in the situation.

The rapper shared a screenshot of a text message exchange between her and Diggs’ accuser, in which the latter allegedly wrote: ‘I’m sooo sorry, I can’t talk to you.

‘Please contact my mediator and she will answer anything you need to know. But only in person and confidently.’

In a caption to the post, she wrote: ‘Not once has that woman said anything to me about being touched.. NOT ONCE!!

‘Mind you, [the accuser and I were] talking every single day until she left that house and she JUST wrote me this,’ Cardi B continued.

‘[But] I’m gonna let the courts handle s*** and when it gets handled I want all yall talkin s*** on your f***in knees with apologies just as loud the way yall been harassing over a lie… and I put that on my two month old son in the name of the lord!! That’s how confident I am.’ Cardi B has now deleted that post.
