Typically, Tuesday evenings on ABC feature fresh episodes of Will Trent, High Potential, and The Rookie. However, with the season premiere of American Idol and the anticipated launch of the Scott Speedman-led drama RJ Decker, the network’s lineup is undergoing some changes.
The Rookie will now be broadcast on Monday nights, with the remaining 15 episodes of Season 8 airing back-to-back without any breaks. Meanwhile, RJ Decker, a series about a former convict-turned-photographer who takes on the role of a private investigator in South Florida, is set to premiere on Tuesday, March 3.
After watching the trailer for RJ Decker, it seems to exude a vibe reminiscent of a mix between Terriers and Stumptown. If you haven’t yet explored Terriers—the 2010 crime-noir series starring Donal Logue and Michael Raymond-James—you can catch its first and only season currently available on Hulu.
