Crystal Palace Stands Firm on Mateta’s Price Tag

Jean-Philippe Mateta is keen to depart Crystal Palace, especially after Nottingham Forest’s recent £35 million bid following their initial inquiry over the weekend. However, Crystal Palace remains steadfast, holding out for a £40 million price. Meanwhile, the club is eyeing potential replacements like Wolves’ Jorgen Strand Larsen, although they have not yet made a formal offer. Leeds United, too, have yet to raise their bid after their £33 million plus add-ons proposal for Larsen was turned down last week.
