The Grande Dame is making a much-anticipated return.
Karen Huger is set to reappear on Bravo for the season finale of The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 10. In a revealing sit-down with Andy Cohen, she will address her DUI conviction and the jail time that followed.
Karen Huger leaves jail and reunites with her family
Huger’s presence has been noticeably absent for much of this season, following her December 2024 DUI conviction in Maryland. The conviction stemmed from a single-car accident in March 2024. As a result, she served a six-month sentence at Montgomery County Detention Center, being released in September 2025.
Viewers got a glimpse of Huger’s release from the Maryland facility in the January 25 episode of RHOP. Cameras captured the emotional moment as the 62-year-old left the jail, stepping into a waiting SUV with a moment of reflection before reuniting with her family.
The February 1 episode promises an emotional reunion. Huger will see her husband, Ray Huger, her daughter, Raylin Huger, and her sister, Bridget, for the first time in months. In a preview, Karen is visibly emotional, tearing up upon seeing Raylin, before sharing heartfelt embraces with Ray and Bridget.
In the February 1 episode, Karen will see her husband, Ray Huger, and her daughter, Raylin Huger, for the first time in months, as well as her sister Bridget. In a teaser for the episode, Karen tears up as she sees Raylin, then embraces Ray and Bridget.
“I wanted to say something to you,” she tells her daughter. “I couldn’t have done it. I couldn’t have done it without you. I love the woman that you’ve become. I never intended for you to see me like that but I’m glad you did. Because there’s a truth and a strength in that.”
Karen also hints that her time behind bars has changed her for the better.
“I found a purpose,” she says. “I found a purpose and I’m happy with it.”
‘RHOP’ star sits down with Andy Cohen
After reconnecting with her loved ones, Karen will sit down with Andy to talk about her jail experience, her issues with alcohol, fan reaction to her return to the Bravoverse, and more. The no-holds-barred conversation will be “very emotional,” the Watch What Happens Lives host told Page Six in November 2025.
“I heard things from Karen that I have never heard before. … I’m excited for you guys to see it,” he said of the tell-all interview, which happened at BravoCon 2025.
A midseason trailer for RHOP Season 10 hinted at what topics the pair will cover.
“It’s time to talk about my addiction,” she says in a clip from her chat with the Housewives producer.
So far, most Bravo fans have welcomed Karen back into the fold with open arms. She received a standing ovation at BravoCon in Las Vegas when she stepped onstage to present an award during The Bravos. Meanwhile, Karen is eager to put her jail time behind her and embrace the next stage of her life.
“I’m uplifted beyond words reflecting on the overwhelming love from my family and all of the RHOP fans,” she wrote in a November 2025 Instagram post. “Last night, Andy and the entire WWHL team welcomed me with such warmth and respect. My deepest appreciation to the remarkable crew behind the scenes for their kindness, care, and support.”
