Contrary to widespread online speculation suggesting that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was involved, the Savannah Police spokesperson decisively stated that ICE had no participation in this particular operation.
The DHS operation was centered on a business located on Tremont Avenue and commenced around 11 a.m. that day.
