Budweiser is embracing its patriotic spirit in a big way for its 2026 Super Bowl commercial, aligning the nation’s 250th anniversary with the company’s own 150th birthday celebration.
The commercial, called “American Icons,” showcases Budweiser’s famed Clydesdale horses assisting a bald eagle as it matures, all set to the classic rock anthem “Free Bird” by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Here’s a glimpse:
“Marking Budweiser’s 150 years and America’s 250th anniversary, we aimed to capture this moment like only Budweiser can. ‘American Icons’ brings our rich history to life with compelling storytelling through the Budweiser Clydesdales and an American Bald Eagle,” stated Todd Allen, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Anheuser-Busch, in an official release.
“This year’s commercial will undoubtedly leave viewers inspired and proud to toast with a Budweiser as they commemorate these shared historic milestones,” the statement added.
