Brandi Glanville isn’t letting critics get her down.
The 53-year-old star of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” took to Instagram to respond to criticism about her makeup after attending the Sundance Film Festival. On Tuesday, January 27, Glanville posted photos of her new look from the event, which took place on Sunday, January 25. In response to her post, a detractor commented, “You are looking better but please new makeup artist.”
Glanville swiftly replied, quipping, “It was me..I tried 😩.” Her fans quickly rallied to her side in the comments, with one user advising her to “ignore that” and pointing out, “People are mean because they have nothing better to do than try and put people down to make themselves feel better.” Another supporter chimed in, saying, “You look beautiful.”
Previously, the Bravo personality unveiled her refreshed appearance following a cosmetic treatment on January 25. She expressed her gratitude on Instagram, thanking Dr. Nicholas Nikolov for the “amazing CellSound” treatment, which she said prepared her for the Sundance Film Festival and an upcoming event for the “PBM Princess” movie at Kemo Sabe.
For the event, Glanville rocked an off-white coat with furry cuffs and a black neckline and a matching fuzzy cap. She accessorized with strappy heels and a gold clutch. Glanville rocked dewy skin, long lashes and glossy lips. Her platinum hair was styled in waves.
Her chic ensembles come one month after she told TMZ that she finally got to the bottom of her facial disfigurement, but didn’t disclose what the cause of it was.
Through the years, the TV personality has been candid about her health issues, sharing in December 2024 that she believed it all started after a girls’ trip in 2023.

“We had food sitting out for hours on end and some of it was meat. In Morocco,” she told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “Six months after I got back from Morocco, I started having this speaking thing and the swelling up thing, it started in July and we’re still here trying to figure it out.”
She also revealed that she had spent $70,000 to try and figure out what was causing the disfigurement.
“Honestly, I have so many doctors and I’ve had so many tests … I did lab work for $10,000,” she shared. “I ran every test under the sun … They’re like, ‘It could be a parasite.’ That’s, you know, new.” Glanville also noted that she was “on meds” for the “whole year.”
In August 2025, she exclusively gave an update to Us Weekly about her health issues. She told Us that she turned to infectious disease doctor Dr. Michael Scoma to look into the infection caused by a parasite.
“I always joke my life is like The Last of Us. I’m just turning into one of those black mold people,” she said. “That’s how I felt. I have lumps on my face and they’re moving around.”
Glanville went on to say that Dr. Michael Scoma “wouldn’t know if there was a parasite or not, because he didn’t treat [her] early on.”
“But if there was, it would have been gone by now,” she added. “A lot of this infection, in this deep tissue — the staph infection, and there’s other problems happening — it mimics a parasite. It has this fluid that jumps around your face because it’s spreading.”
