ORLANDO, Fla. – Enthusiasts of “The Lord of the Rings” have a treat in store at this year’s MEGACON Orlando.

This popular pop-culture event is marking the 25th anniversary of the legendary trilogy directed by Peter Jackson with a special gathering of stars from the beloved films. On Wednesday, the convention proudly announced the addition of its sixth notable guest, actress Liv Tyler.

Liv Tyler, who captivated audiences as Arwen the elf in the trilogy, is also known for her portrayal of Betty Ross in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Her impressive filmography includes roles in “Armageddon,” “Empire Records,” “Jersey Girl,” the series “The Leftovers,” and “Ad Astra.”

Adding to her star-studded profile, Tyler is the daughter of Aerosmith’s legendary frontman, Steven Tyler.

Fans eager to meet Liv Tyler can purchase autograph and photo-op tickets starting February 3.

The annual convention combines celebrity guests from film and television with comic-book creators, cosplayers, gamers, artists and more.

The five other “Lord of the Rings” guests are Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd.
