Courtney Shaw, aged 47, has been charged with felony shoplifting, according to court records. As reported by local ABC affiliate WSB, Shaw allegedly took over $900 worth of merchandise from the Walmart located on Bells Ferry Road in Woodstock, approximately 30 miles north of Atlanta.
Authorities claim that Shaw executed her thefts on 98 separate occasions between November 2 and December 31, 2025. Reports suggest that her method involved stacking two items together, scanning only one, and then placing both into her bag or shopping cart before exiting the store. The specific items she is accused of stealing have not been detailed in the report.

She has been part of the institution since 2024 and has dedicated over 20 years to the field of education.
