The saga of Daredevil continues as “Daredevil: Born Again” gears up for its second season. The first trailer has emerged, revealing more thrilling escapades for Matt Murdock, played by Charlie Cox. Vincent D’Onofrio hinted that Season 2 was already being mapped out while the inaugural season was still in production. Enthusiasts are eager to witness Daredevil’s relentless quest to defend Hell’s Kitchen and perhaps all of New York City. Daredevil gets born again … again. We now have our first trailer for “Daredevil: Born Again” Season 2, which Vincent D’Onofrio said was in the planning stages when Season 1 was still filming. And fans are ready for more action from Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), aka the Man Without Fear, as he protects Hell’s Kitchen and all of New York City by the looks of it. Excitement is also buzzing on X, where @caonfilm expressed joy over the return of Jessica Jones, saying, “Jessica Jones back on my screen, we’ve never been more back!!!!!!” Previous set photos have confirmed Krysten Ritter’s comeback, sparking curiosity about the possible reappearance of other Marvel street-level icons such as Luke Cage, portrayed by Mike Colter, and Iron Fist, played by Finn Jones.
Similar sentiments were shared on X, with @caonfilm writing, “Jessica Jones back on my screen, we’ve never been more back!!!!!!” Set photos previously confirmed Ritter’s return, and now the question is whether we’ll see other street-level Marvel heroes like Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) make an encore as well.

Perhaps the most remarkable aspect of this upcoming season is its rapid release, arriving just a year after the first, a rarity in the realm of streaming series which often have a two to three-year gap. There’s also a surprise appearance from Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson), who died in the first episode of “Daredevil: Born Again.” It could be a flashback, but then again, characters have a habit of coming back to life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Perhaps the most astonishing thing about Season 2 is that it’s coming out only a year after the first season, as opposed to the two or three years that is often the case with streaming shows.
