ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — A tragic case has unfolded in St. Petersburg where a mother stands accused of taking the life of her young son. The woman, Diana Cullom, appeared in court on Wednesday and was denied bail as she faces charges in connection with the death of her 4-year-old son, Finley.

Authorities allege that Cullom suffocated her son at their home in the Shore Acres neighborhood. The incident is being treated as a homicide, and the investigation is ongoing.
