During the discussion, Tamra, who is currently filming the 20th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, hinted at escalating tensions due to her experiences in season 19, where she felt treated as a “punching bag” by fellow cast members. In her commentary, Tamra, 58, seemed to draw parallels between Shannon, 61, and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Sutton Stracke, 54, characterizing Shannon as “fragile.”
Reflecting on a statement by Jennifer Tilly, Tamra mentioned on Two Ts in a Pod—shared via Just Bookin’ Around on TikTok—“[Jennifer Tilly] said something that stuck with me. She commented, ‘Sutton gets a pass because everybody knows she’s fragile,’ and I’ve had a friend who was just like that.” Tamra elaborated, “They manage to get away with everything because everyone feels sorry for them. But it becomes irritating. At what point do they take responsibility for their own fragility?”
“Take action,” she concluded.
“Do something about it,” she added.
@just_bookin_around This question is in no disrespect, but why is Sutton currently so fragile? Is it the annulment? And did Sutton ever apologize to Jennifer Tilly? 🎧: TWOT, January 23 📸: Reality Blurb & BravoTV #fyp #bravo #bravotv #peacock #rhobh ♬ original sound – Just Bookin’ Around
Around the same time, as she was featured on an episode of SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, via YouTube, Tamra asked Jeff Lewis, 55, if he was worried that Shannon wouldn’t be asked to return to RHOC.
“No,” he replied. “She’s like one of those OGs that people love.”
Jeff then noted that he’d like to see Tamra and Shannon reconcile since he didn’t want to see another season where the two of them were at odds. This prompted Tamra to point out that she “tried last year” and it “didn’t work.”
According to Jeff, he’d also appreciate a reunion between the Tres Amigas, which includes Vicki Gunvalson, 63.
“But here’s the thing, Tamra, if you do commit to a resolution, you know, you’ve got a sharp tongue, and sometimes you say mean things,” he noted.
In response, Tamra made it clear that she wouldn’t be holding back.
“After how they treated me last year, I’m gonna f*cking blow things up. I was in a very sad situation. I wasn’t happy, and nobody — if anybody else was having a hard time, it would be like, ‘Oh, what can I do for you? Let’s have a party to cheer you up.’ No. They’re like, ‘You’re leaking stories. You’re doing this. You’re that.’ And I’m like, ‘Oh my god, you guys are not my friends,’” she recalled.
Then, after Teddi suggests she needed a “redemption year,” and Jeff joked that she’d been needing one “for, like, 20 seasons,” Tamra said, “I’m like a punching bag.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 20 is expected to go into production sometime early this year.
