Alex admitted that his latest message, in which he apologized to the “Shape of You” star for his relentless emailing, was met with silence.

“I promise, I can show you right now,” Alex shared exclusively with Erin Lim Rhodes at the Live From E! Stream: Spotify Best New Artist Party 2026 on January 29. He recounted that the email humorously stated, “So sorry for emailing you. My New Year’s resolution is to email you less.”

Although Alex jested about their frequent exchanges, he assured that he genuinely intends to reduce his emails.

“My New Year’s resolution is to email him less,” the 25-year-old admitted. “Because I email him every single time the slightest convenience happens in my life.”
