A$AP Rocky always dreamed of fatherhood, envisioning himself as a parent long before he and Rihanna started their family. Now, he’s fully engaged in his role as a dedicated dad to three children.
In a recent Esquire interview, Rocky shared, “I wanted to be a dad even before meeting my girl. I wished for a baby girl or boy—whatever God had in store—and I’ve been blessed with three.”

Rocky and Rihanna are proud parents to three little ones. They welcomed their latest addition, daughter Rocki Irish Mayers, in September, officially marking Rocky as a girl dad. The couple also has two sons: Rza Athelaston Mayers, born in May 2022, and Riot Rose Mayers, who arrived in August 2023.
Being away from his children is tough for Rocky. “I really miss my kids,” he shares, while describing the bustling home life with three young ones.

Rocky mentions that all his kids have inherited his good looks, though Rocki’s personality is still unfolding. His sons, however, have distinct personalities already. His eldest is particular about food, while Riot has a sweet tooth and enjoys anything sugary, a trait Rocky thinks might run in the family.
The rapper also shares how the dynamic between his two sons has changed as Riot has grown. “Rza’s finally starting to stick up for hisself again, because Rza used to bully the shit out of Riot when Riot couldn’t walk and talk,” he says. “Now Riot go take that boy book from him, take his pacifier.”

When it comes to talking, Rocky makes it clear Riot has plenty to say. “Rza don’t be talking. That’s Riot. He can’t stop running his mouth,” he adds, laughing as he recalls a recent moment when Riot told on him. After Rocky left the house without saying goodbye, his son quickly reported it to Rihanna. “He was like, ‘Dada left. Dada left through the door.’ She told me, ‘You left?’ I’m like, Yeah, why? She like, ‘Because our son told me you left. It’d been nice to say goodbye.’”
The family spent Christmas together in matching pajamas, though Rocky says the photos will never see the light of day. “That ain’t me,” he explains, joking that his kids will eventually know the difference. “Ma dukes got to get thrown under the bus,” he adds, half joking but also serious about one thing: never letting his kids think he’s uncool.
