Prepare for a new wave of surprises as three fresh faces are set to check into The White Lotus Hotel.
According to Variety, Helena Bonham Carter, Chris Messina, and Marissa Long are the latest additions to the cast of The White Lotus Season 4.
These stars join the ranks of Mike White’s popular HBO series, which is gearing up to set its next chapter in the picturesque landscapes of France. The season will also feature Steve Coogan, Alexander Ludwig, Caleb Jonte Edwards, and AJ Michalka.
The cameras are scheduled to start rolling in late April, with production continuing through October. While details about the storylines and characters remain a well-guarded secret, there are whispers that the Cannes Film Festival might play a role in the upcoming episodes.
As reported by Deadline, White and HBO have selected the opulent Château de La Messardière as the backdrop for the new season. This 19th-century estate overlooks Saint-Tropez on the stunning Côte d’Azur, nestled within an expansive 32-acre property.
The White Lotus will be Long’s television debut.
The third season of The White Lotus brought guests to a luxury hotel in Thailand where the staff and guests navigate greed, lust, spirituality and more, until a shooting rocks the resort.
After Season 3, White told Deadline he was hoping to take the series in a different direction with Season 4.
“For the fourth season, I want to get a little bit out of the crashing waves of rocks vernacular, but there’s always more room for more murders at the White Lotus hotels,” he said.
The series has earned a total of 16 Emmy wins after 66 total nominations, in addition to two Golden Globe Awards.
The White Lotus is streaming now on HBO.
