Expect a flurry of reactions today, particularly from the left, following the arrest of Don Lemon in Los Angeles.

Anticipate cries of “attack on the First Amendment” as the news unfolds.

More details have emerged surrounding the circumstances of his arrest.

Authorities apprehended Lemon shortly after midnight on the cusp of Thursday night and Friday morning at a local hotel.

Lemon was in town to cover the Grammys, and this incident will likely hinder his reporting duties, at least temporarily.

He was in Los Angeles to report on the Grammys, so it sounds like this is going to put a cramp in his ability to cover that, at least for a little bit.

It sounds like they may have gone to a grand jury, according to CBS.

A source familiar with the matter said a grand jury was empaneled Thursday. FBI and HSI were involved in the arrest, sources say.

Attorney General Pam Bondi confirmed the arrest and explained he wasn’t the only person arrested.

At my direction, early this morning federal agents arrested Don Lemon, Trahern Jeen Crews, Georgia Fort, and Jamael Lydell Lundy, in connection with the coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Three other people had already been arrested in connection with the church storming.
