The entertainment world is in mourning following the passing of the beloved actress Catherine O’Hara, who died on Friday in Los Angeles at the age of 71.
Fellow actor Macaulay Culkin, who worked alongside O’Hara in the iconic “Home Alone” series, expressed his heartfelt grief on Instagram. “Mama. I thought we had time. I wanted more. I wanted to sit in a chair next to you. I heard you. But I had so much more to say. I love you. I’ll see you later,” he shared, reminiscing about their on-screen mother-son bond.
Esteemed actress Meryl Streep also paid tribute to O’Hara, reflecting on her impactful presence in the film industry. “Catherine O’Hara brought love and light to our world, through whipsmart compassion for the collection of eccentrics she portrayed,” Streep remarked. “Such a loss for her family and friends, and the audience she graced as friends.” The two had shared the screen in the film “Heartburn.”
