In Orange County, Florida, a dramatic series of events unfolded on Friday evening, leading to the arrest of a suspect and leaving three individuals injured, as reported by the sheriff’s office.
The incident began around 7:30 p.m. on Aein Road, where deputies arrived to find a woman suffering from severe injuries. Initially thought to have been shot, the sheriff’s office later confirmed her injuries were of a different nature, although they remained life-threatening. She was promptly taken to a hospital for urgent medical care.
Compounding the chaos, the suspect reportedly left the scene and discharged a firearm on the street, hitting a man in his 30s. Fortunately, the man sustained only minor injuries and received treatment at the location.
The suspect was eventually located by deputies, who discovered him suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Despite his injuries, he was alive and taken into custody, according to the sheriff’s office statement.
Deputies later made contact with the suspect, “who was alive but suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound,” the statement reads.
The suspect was taken to a hospital for treatment, according to the statement.
