ATLANTA () — Snowflakes gently descended upon various parts of metro Atlanta on Saturday afternoon. However, most locales experienced minimal or no snow accumulation, leaving little opportunity for snowman building.
Shortly after midday, the snowfall began, predominantly affecting the northern suburbs like Alpharetta, Cumming, and areas along Georgia 400 stretching towards Dawsonville. In the heart of Atlanta, the snow was both light and fleeting.
Even with the chilling temperatures, many locals noted that road conditions remained mostly unaffected. This is a notable change from the previous weekend’s icy weather, which led to significant travel disruptions, fallen trees, and power outages.
