Turning Point USA has finally released its highly-anticipated lineup for The All-American Halftime Show, in a bid to rival Bad Bunny and the Super Bowl. The NFL polarized fans in late September with its decision to hand the stage to the Puerto Rican musician, with MAGA supporters promising to turn off for his performance in the middle of the Seahawks-Patriots game this weekend. Now, it’s been confirmed that there will be another option for football fans, with Kick Rock headlining an alternative show for the more conservative viewers. Scheduled to air around 8pm as a direct alternative to Bad Bunny, the TPUSA show will also include Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett.

‘We’re approaching this show like David and Goliath,’ Kid Rock said in a statement on Monday. ‘Competing with the pro football machine and a global pop superstar is almost impossible…or is it?’ In a statement to Fox News, TPUSA spokesperson Andrew Kolvet said: ‘The All-American Halftime Show is an opportunity for all Americans to enjoy a halftime show with no agenda other than to celebrate faith, family, and freedom. ‘We can’t wait to watch the incredible show they’re about to put on. We know millions around the country will be watching too.’
Bad Bunny Faces Continued Criticism Over Super Bowl Halftime Show
Bad Bunny has continued to receive criticism from some fans as he prepares to headline the official show in Santa Clara on Sunday night, with President Trump among them. ‘I don’t know who he is,’ Trump told Newsmax last Fall. ‘I don’t know why they’re doing it. It’s crazy. And then they blame it on some promoter they hired to pick up entertainment. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous.’ Turning Point USA was founded by the late Charlie Kirk, and his widow Erica has vowed to continue to promote his message after he was assassinated in September while taking part in an event at Utah Valley University.
Days after his death, Erika released a video saying: ‘The evildoers responsible for my husband’s assassination have no idea what they have done. ‘They killed Charlie because he preached a message of patriotism, faith and of God’s merciful love. ‘If you thought that my husband’s mission was powerful before, you have no idea. You have no idea what you just have unleashed across this entire country and this world.’
Bad Bunny Vocal On ICE Criticism
Bad Bunny has been extremely vocal in his criticism of ICE, also opting to avoid scheduling US tour dates over concerns his Latino fans could be detained while attending the shows. Shortly after he was announced as the Halftime Show performer, Bad Bunny himself poked fun at the criticism on Saturday Night Live. ‘You might not know this but I’m doing the Super Bowl halftime show and I’m very happy and I think everyone is happy about it – even Fox News,’ he said.
A heavily-edited clip then played, stitching together the comments of various Fox anchors and pundits so that they said: ‘Bad Bunny is my favorite musician and he should be the next president.’ He continued: ‘Thank you. Wow, thank you. But really, I am very excited to be doing the Super Bowl and I know that people all around the world who love my music are also happy.’
