Savannah Guthrie, co-host of NBC’s “Today” show, expressed her gratitude on Monday to those who have been sending prayers for her mother, Nancy, who authorities suspect may have been kidnapped from her Arizona home.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department reported that Nancy Guthrie was last spotted on Saturday night around 9:30 p.m. at her home located near East Skyline Drive and North Campbell Avenue, just north of Tucson. Family members had dropped her off that evening.
In a heartfelt Instagram post shared on Monday night, Savannah Guthrie emphasized her faith in prayer and divine intervention.
“We have faith in the power of prayer, in the strength of united voices filled with love and hope. We trust in the goodness of humanity and, above all, in Him,” she wrote, accompanying her message with an image that read, “Please pray.”

“Thank you for lifting your prayers with ours for our beloved mom, our dearest Nancy, a woman of deep conviction, a good and faithful servant. Raise your prayers with us and believe with us that she will be lifted by them in this very moment,” the post continued.
Savannah Guthrie added, “We need you.”
The journalist also quoted a Bible as she appeared to attempt to remain optimistic about her mother’s disappearance.

“‘He will keep in perfect peace those whose hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.’ A verse of Isaiah for all time for all of us,” she wrote.
“Bring her home,” Savannah Guthrie concluded.
