Though February is often linked with the theme of romance, the allure of a captivating thriller is truly timeless.

This month, streaming giants like Netflix, HBO Max, Prime Video, Peacock, and Paramount+ have introduced a fresh selection of films for audiences to enjoy.

Among this new lineup, Watch With Us has handpicked five outstanding thriller movies that are must-sees for any film enthusiast.

This month’s top picks predominantly feature crime thrillers; however, horror and survival genres are also in the mix to add some variety.

Cate Blanchett in Black Bag

As we approach the end of the year, it’s a perfect moment to reflect on the cinematic highlights of 2025. It has been a standout year for film, with notable titles such as “Sinners,” “Weapons,” “Wake Up Dead Man,” and “One Battle After Another” captivating audiences both in theaters and at home.

‘Influencer’ (2023)

Influencer is a thriller that plays with the idea of identity theft as a horror story. An influencer named Madison (Emily Tennant) finds herself at the center of this tale when she goes to Thailand by herself. Another woman, CW (Cassandra Naud), takes advantage of Madison’s solitude to earn her trust before stealing her life and leaving her for dead.

CW spreads an even deeper web of lies as she takes over Madison’s social media accounts. But she didn’t count on Madison’s boyfriend, Ryan Evans (Rory J. Saper), being able to expose her. If CW wants to hang on to her stolen lifestyle, then she’ll have to get her hands dirty.

Influencer is streaming on Netflix.

‘Cop Land’ (1997)

Nearly three decades ago, Sylvester Stallone‘s Oscar hopes were pinned on Cop Land. An Academy Award nomination for Best Actor may have eluded Stallone, but his turn as Sheriff Freddy Heflin is easily one of his best performances. Because Freddy was injured years ago, he could never join the NYPD. But as the sheriff of a small town called Garrison, Freddy gets to live alongside members of New York’s police force, including Lieutenant Ray Donlan (Harvey Keitel).

Andrew Garfield in Under the Silver Lake

Rotten Tomatoes shouldn’t necessarily be the definitive barometer for quality, but it can certainly help you narrow down what movie to watch. Watch With Us is taking a look at some of the best thriller movies to stream right now on streamers like Netflix and Tubi, and we were curious to see where they fell […]

Freddy has also turned a blind eye to the corruption that comes with Donlan and his men. However, Donlan’s nephew, Officer Murray Babitch (Michael Rapaport), and his colleague, Officer Gary Figgis (Ray Liotta), inadvertently expose the criminal underside of these dirty cops. As Freddy learns the truth, he has to decide whether to continue backing Donlan or if he’ll dare to stand against him.

Cop Land is streaming on Paramount+.

‘Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead’ (2007)

Before he passed away in 2011, director Sidney Lumet had one last great crime thriller in him, which turned out to be Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead. Lumet stages the story in a non-linear fashion, so you’ll have to pay close attention to catch all of the details. Philip Seymour Hoffman and Ethan Hawke lead the cast as brothers Andy and Hank Hanson, respectively.

Andy and Hank are both at desperate moments in their lives, and one of the brothers has already betrayed the other. Regardless, they embark on a dangerous plan to rob their family-owned jewelry store, which is run by their parents, Charles (Albert Finney) and Nanette Hanson (Rosemary Harris).  The brothers were foolish to believe that such a plan could go off without a hitch, and now the entire family will pay the price for their actions.

Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead is streaming on Hulu.

Michael Douglas and Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction

Paramount+ may not have the deepest film library among the streamers, but it can boast that it has some of the best thrillers ever made. Fatal Attraction and Chinatown, both of which have been on Paramount+ before, are back on the streamer in December. Both of those titles are strong contenders to be placed among […]

‘Open Water’ (2003)

If you’ve ever gone on a scuba trip in the ocean, then Open Water may seem like a horror story rather than a thriller. It’s inspired by the real-life tragic tale of Tom and Eileen Lonergan, a couple who were accidentally abandoned by their tour boat.

The film renames the couple Daniel Kintner (Daniel Travis) and Susan Watkins (Blanchard Ryan), and it doesn’t strictly follow what really happened. But it stays close enough to that nightmarish premise as Daniel and Susan find themselves alone in the water, with only sharks and other hungry sea creatures to keep them company as they desperately try to stay alive.

Open Water is streaming on HBO Max.

‘Inside Man’ (2006)

Director Spike Lee outdid himself with Inside Man, a sharp crime thriller and one of the best movies Lee has ever made. A gang of thieves led by Dalton Russell (Clive Owen) has come up with an ingenious plan to rob the Manhattan Trust bank in full view of the cops without exposing their true identities.

Clive Owen and Naomi Watts in The International

Hulu has some great drama movies streaming in November, like The Family Stone starring the late Diane Keaton and A Star is Born, but it also has some must-watch thrillers to watch, too. Watch With Us has updated our list of Hulu thrillers for October 2025. has compiled a list of the best suspense movies […]

Detective Keith Frazier (Denzel Washington) attempts to defuse the hostage situation that follows, but Dalton’s team is several steps ahead of him. The chairman of the bank, Arthur Case (Christopher Plummer), quickly realizes that the robbers may be after his most closely held secrets. But even his personal fixer, Madeline White (Jodie Foster), may be helpless to prevent that from happening.

Inside Man is streaming on Peacock.
