SAVANNAH, Ga. — The Savannah Steel, an exciting addition to women’s professional basketball, has revealed its home game schedule for their debut season in 2026.
The Steel will host 17 games at the Enmarket Arena, with Friday being the most frequent game day, featuring six matchups. Notably, no games are scheduled for Mondays or Tuesdays.
This team is one of the pioneers of the UpShot League, a developmental league for women’s basketball based in Jacksonville, Florida.
The league comprises four teams, all located in the Southeast: Savannah Steel, Jacksonville Waves, Greensboro Groove, and Charlotte Crown.
The Steel’s home opener is set against the Groove on Friday, May 22, with their next game lined up against the Waves on Sunday, May 24.
The Steel will play two games on the weekend of July 4, playing the Groove on Friday, July 3, and Sunday, July 5.
The home schedule will conclude with back-to-back games against the Waves on Saturday, Aug. 22, and Sunday, Aug. 23.
