A former reality television personality who identifies as a “swinger,” along with a purported accomplice, faces serious legal charges for allegedly engaging in a horrifying series of crimes. Prosecutors assert these acts included drugging and sexually assaulting a minor, possessing child exploitation materials, and engaging in sexual activities with dogs.
Tony McCollister, aged 43, is facing a 30-count indictment as per the Warren County Prosecutor’s office in Ohio. The charges encompass four counts of rape, one count of drug-related corruption, five counts of gross sexual imposition, three counts of child endangerment, 13 counts of distributing sexually explicit material involving minors or impaired individuals, and four counts of bestiality.
Erica Lynne Grove, also 43, has been indicted on 24 charges. These include four counts of rape, one count of drug-related corruption, five counts of gross sexual imposition, eight counts of illegal use of minors or impaired persons in nudity-oriented materials or performances, two counts of child endangerment, and four counts of sexual conduct with animals.
The indictment followed a June 2025 alert from Google, which flagged a potential child sexual abuse material linked to an IP address, as detailed in a news release dated February 2 from the Warren County Prosecutor. Upon executing search warrants, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office traced the materials back to an account associated with McCollister.
The authorities reported discovering videos depicting McCollister and Grove engaging in various forms of sexual conduct with two dogs, according to the news release.
On December 27, Warren County Sheriff Barry Riley told TMZ that McCollister’s pets were confiscated from him and “are being well cared for.”
Initially, McCollister was charged for possession of child sexual abuse material and sex with the dogs, while Grove faced charges for sex with the dogs.
As the investigation continued, authorities found evidence that the pair had drugged a child, who was under the age of six, “for the specific purpose of raping and engaging in various other types of sexual assault of the child,” noted the release. Among the findings were child sexual abuse material involving the child in question.
“Just when we thought that sex with the dogs was going to be the most horrific part of this case, the detectives discovered evidence of the drugging and raping of a little girl,” Warren County Prosecutor David P. Fornshell said in the release. “I’m sitting in a room full of people who investigate and prosecute child sexual abuse cases on a daily basis, we’re reviewing the evidence, and it’s just silence. It’s really difficult to even process.”
Back in 2015, McCollister starred in the short-lived reality show Neighbors with Benefits about the lives of swinger couples. The show was canceled after two episodes. In 2015, McCollister and his then-wife told Fox 19 that they wanted to spread awareness and normalize stigmas about their lifestyle.
Grove and McCollister are both in custody at the Warren County Jail. Bail has not yet been set for both suspects, according to jail records. Both suspects will be arraigned on Feb. 4 in Warren County Common Pleas Court.
The pair have not yet obtained attorneys, a spokesperson from the Warren County Clerk of Courts, told Oxygen, adding that neither suspect has yet entered a plea. Fornshell told Oxygen in an email that the aforementioned information will be known on Feb. 4.
