Once again, the name of the renowned tech magnate has surfaced in discussions about Jeffrey Epstein, the infamous financier whose scandalous past has been well-publicized. Their connection has been scrutinized before, but recent revelations have reignited interest.
In a trove of over three million documents, purported email drafts from Epstein’s account suggest unsettling claims. These drafts allege that Gates arranged encounters with women through Epstein and supposedly contracted a sexually transmitted infection.
The emails also depict what seems to be Epstein’s sense of betrayal by Gates, accusing him of seeking antibiotics for an STI, allegedly intending to pass them to his then-wife, Melinda, without her knowledge.
In response to these allegations, Bill Gates’ representatives have firmly denied the claims, describing Epstein as a “proven, disgruntled liar.” They conveyed this stance to the New York Times, dismissing the allegations outright.
“These documents only highlight Epstein’s frustration over his lack of an ongoing association with Gates and the extreme measures he would take to entrap and defame,” a spokesperson commented, seeking to clarify the situation.
“Whatever questions remain there of what – I can’t even begin to know all of it – those questions are for those people and for even my ex-husband,” she said.
“They need to answer to those things, not me.”
The Gates’ announced their divorce in 2021, dividing a massive fortune as part of the split.
On Wild Cards, French Gates said she hoped for justice for Epstein’s victims.
“I’m able to take my own sadness and look at those young girls and say, my God, how did that happen to those girls?” she said.
“At least for me, I’ve been able to move on in life, and I hope there’s some justice for those now-women.”
