The Department of Justice has recently unveiled a trove of new documents, among which are never-before-seen photos of Jeffrey Epstein’s body and his jail cell, captured after his death in 2019.
These documents, released by the Department, include an FBI death investigation conducted by the New York Field Office and a report from the Lieutenant’s Office at the Metropolitan Correctional Center. These reports contain numerous photographs of the late financier, discovered hanged in his jail cell during the early hours of August 10, 2019.
One document, marked as “EFTA00134598” by the Department of Justice, depicts Epstein with the front of his orange prison uniform torn open while emergency medical technicians attempt CPR.
The images show Epstein with TENS pads, typically used in CPR kits, attached to his chest. He also wears a neck brace and is connected to an oxygen tank with a tube leading to his mouth.
Additionally, Epstein is shown receiving fluids through an IV drip.
One of the pictures shows Epstein’s horrifically red and bloated face, with deep red cuts to his neck where a makeshift noose dug into the flesh.
Other photographs show Epstein’s cell following his death, with a strip of orange fabric the financier reportedly used to hang himself still attached to the metal bed frame.
Still further pictures show Epstein’s thyroid cartilage almost entirely fractured.
The death investigation, labeled as document “EFTA00161494” in the DoJ’s mass release last Friday, gives a blow-by-blow account of the last minutes of the pedophile’s life, along with graphic images showing EMTs attempting to resuscitate him.
On the day before his death, Aug. 9, Epstein went to court in the morning, and his cellmate left in the afternoon.
The officer in the report said Epstein’s cellmate “possibly may not return, so Epstein would need a cellmate upon arrival from his attorney visit.”
That evening, Epstein made a 20-minute phone call, but the report doesn’t state who he reached out to.
The convicted sex offender was permitted to make the call in the shower area and an officer dialed the number in for him because he didn’t have his phone access code and PIN set up, the report states.
That officer then left Epstein with two other officers, who were working an overtime shift until 8 a.m. the morning of Aug. 10.
At 6:33 a.m. that day, a body alarm was activated, and the morning Lieutenant on duty was told by the officer that “Epstein hung himself,” the report states.
“We did not complete the 3 a.m. nor 5 a.m. rounds,” a second officer states, while a third says, “We messed up,” then corrects himself, “I messed up, she’s not to blame, we didn’t do any rounds.”
Epstein was moved to a second-floor medical area and a nurse performed CPR, after the Lt. earlier performed CPR, but no pulse was found.
He was transferred into an ambulance and taken to Beekman hospital, where his official time of death was reported as 7:36 a.m.
Epstein is believed to have committed suicide in his New York City jail cell while awaiting federal charges of sex-trafficking of minors and conspiracy to commit sex-trafficking of minors.
He is believed to have victimized hundreds of women and children at his Manhattan townhouse, his private Caribbean island of Little St. James, and his New Mexico ranch.
