According to a translation of a local media report, the man went missing while skiing with a group of friends between Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort and Niseko Annupuri International Ski Resort in Niseko, Hokkaido.

Police joined the effort to locate the missing man, eventually discovering him receiving CPR from a group of four rescuers.

Despite being rushed to the hospital by emergency responders, the man, who showed no apparent injuries, unfortunately, succumbed to his condition.

Police are currently investigating the cause of the man’s death and the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Local media reports the man had been working at a lodging facility.

It is believed the Sunshine Coast woman went into cardiac arrest after becoming stuck in a chairlift and suspended in the air.
