Sabrina Carpenter is well aware of Miss Piggy’s impeccable taste.
The singer of “Manchild” acknowledged this during the much-anticipated return of The Muppet Show, which is set to debut on Disney+ and ABC on February 4. However, the question remains: did the iconic Muppet feel overshadowed by the Grammy-winning artist during the filming of this special episode?
In an exclusive chat with E! News’ Will Marfuggi, Miss Piggy dismissed the notion of being intimidated. “Intimidated? Me?” she exclaimed. “If anything, you should ask Sabrina if she felt intimidated by moi.”
The television legend, who has graced screens for over five decades, added with her usual flair, “Actually, don’t ask her that. Trust me, she was definitely intimidated.”
While Miss Piggy is no stranger to commanding attention, Kermit the Frog was quick to step in and commend the talents of the “Please Please Please” singer.
“What I think Miss Piggy is meaning to say,” he said in the joint interview, “is that it was great to share the stage with Sabrina, who is an amazing singer and actress.”
With a side-eye, Miss Piggy responded, “Sure, sure, sure, yeah. That’s what I meant.”
As for how Sabrina really feels about the diva?
