Wicked: For Good is ready to enchant audiences once again, this time making its way onto streaming platforms.
The sequel, known as Wicked: Part One, graced cinemas in November 2025 and became available on VOD platforms before the year ended.
This latest installment of director Jon M. Chu’s two-part musical adaptation not only revisits beloved stage hits like “No Good Deed” and “For Good,” but also introduces two fresh tracks performed by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande: “No Place Like Home” and “The Girl in the Bubble.”
Although Wicked: For Good didn’t secure any Oscar nominations this year, both Erivo and Grande received Golden Globe nods for their captivating portrayals of Elphaba and Glinda. Unfortunately, the film was overlooked in the Golden Globes’ Best Musical or Comedy category.
The film also boasts remarkable performances from Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard, Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, among other talented cast members.
