(FOX 5/KUSI) — Fans of Benito, better known as Bad Bunny, have been eagerly speculating for weeks about which tracks he would choose for his Super Bowl LX halftime performance in Santa Clara, and whether he might surprise the audience with any guest appearances.
The setlist
There was anticipation that he might kick off the show with a politically charged anthem like “El Apagon” or “Lo Que Le Pasó a Hawaii” to make a statement. However, the Puerto Rican sensation opted to start with “Tití Me Preguntó,” a lively track about navigating singlehood at family gatherings.
Following this energetic opener, Bad Bunny moved seamlessly into “Yo Perreo Sola.” This song celebrates the independence of women who prefer to dance solo, carrying a powerful message about women’s autonomy.
During the halftime show, Bad Bunny also performed several other fan-favorite tracks. Here’s a rundown of the songs that made the setlist:

The stage
The halftime stage drew inspiration from Bad Bunny’s recent 30-show residency in Puerto Rico, featuring elements like the iconic pink casita, lush grasses, greenery, and traditional Puerto Rican pava hats. These elements were intertwined with broader nods to Latin culture.
At the beginning of the show, Bad Bunny danced and sang his way through tall shrubs of grass while stopping by a coconut stand, a dominoes table, a taco stand and a wedding that’s gone on so long the children have fallen asleep on chairs — all synonymous with growing up in Latino culture.
Bad Bunny’s pride for Puerto Rico could be felt throughout his performance, something that he has never been shy to express before. At one point he tells the camera in Spanish, “The reason I’m here is because I never stopped believing in myself.”
His most recent album, “Debí tirar más fotos” took home Album of the Year at the 2026 Grammy awards.
His performance also emphasized a theme of unity, ending his performance with a message of “God bless America” as a tribe of flags followed behind him and he read off the names of countries like Chile, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Canada, Argentina, Peru, Costa Rica and Cuba.
In the background a sign displayed, “The only thing more powerful than hate is love.”
The football Bad Bunny had been tightly holding to his chest was then raised in the air to display the message “Together, we are America” as he said, “We’re still here.”
The guests
Other fan predictions included which artists, if any at all, the 31-year-old reggeaton singer would bring out to share the stage with him.
To the surprise of many, it was Lady Gaga who joined Benito on stage in a traditional blue Puerto Rican costume dress during the halftime show first.
She performed “Die With a Smile” ending with a dance to “Baile Inolvidable” with Benito at a faux wedding before making her way off stage.
Ricky Martin also made a susprise appearance, singing a snippet of the song “Lo Que Le Paso a Hawaii” which describes the effects of imperialism in Hawaii in comparison to the future of Puerto Rico.
