CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) – Pastor Dr. Robert Smith of the Center of Hope Church emphasizes that one of their primary missions is to nourish the community.

“We aim to fulfill the biblical mandate: feed the hungry,” Smith stated.

Each month, church volunteers come together to assemble and distribute boxes of groceries, providing crucial support to those in need. The initiative benefits 100 families, each receiving food supplies valued at $220. Apostle LaSonia Glover highlighted that while these 100 boxes have a significant impact, the church aspires to expand its reach even further.
