EVANS, Ga. – In a heartfelt announcement on Monday, Kristi Baker, a long-serving member of the Columbia County Board of Education representing District 2, declared she will not pursue another term following 16 years of service. Her decision marks the end of a significant era for the board.
In a letter addressed to Superintendent Steven Flynt, the staff, and residents of Columbia County, Baker expressed her deep appreciation for the community’s support throughout her tenure. She expressed gratitude to those who have aided and accompanied her in her journey on the board.
