In a recent video update on a popular YouTube channel, Alexa Curtin, a former star of the “Real Housewives of Orange County,” was seen enjoying a shopping trip to Walmart. This outing was organized by a YouTuber who had recently interviewed the 33-year-old.
Just days earlier, the same YouTuber had shared an interview with Alexa where she openly discussed her current challenges. Alexa revealed that she is battling homelessness and a fentanyl addiction. In a candid moment, she also spoke about the emotional struggle of losing two fingers and being estranged from her family, including her father, Frank Curtin.
Missnene from the “LA To You Interviews” YouTube channel found Alexa and informed her that many viewers had reached out following her initial interview. Alexa, in response, shared her immediate plans, saying she was heading out to sell clothes to make ends meet.
“I’m alright,” Alexa admitted. “I’m kind of struggling today because I don’t have any money, and I was going to go try to sell these jeans that I have just to make some money,” she explained, shedding light on her day-to-day challenges.
“I’m alright. I’m kind of struggling today because I don’t have any money, and I was going to go try to sell these jeans that I have just to make some money,” she shared.
Then, after Missnene asked Alexa if she was interested in getting help for her drug addiction, Alexa replied, “I definitely want to get help.”
“I’ve just been feeling kind of down and stuff because of my car accident, and losing my fingers has been really hard for me, and then just, not really being involved in my family has made it really difficult. I miss my mom, my sister, my nephew a lot. I don’t even talk to my dad anymore,” she continued. “Having these holidays pass and stuff, it just reminds me how much I love my mom and dad, and how much I’d rather be there [instead of] around all these people that don’t even like me or love me.”
After chatting in the car for a while, Missnene took Alexa to Walmart, where she purchased nearly $400 worth of items for the former reality star, including snacks, water, razors, press-on nails, lashes, and other personal hygiene products.
At the conclusion of the trip, Alexa said, “Oh my God, I feel so blessed.”
Alexa Curtin’s family was featured on the fourth and fifth seasons of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
