AUGUSTA, Ga. ( ) – On February 4, 2026, a check presentation ceremony highlighted the donation of Border Bowl XIII’s proceeds to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta.
This year’s event successfully generated over $15,000 in funds.
“For 13 years, the Border Bowl has been a remarkable tradition, channeling support towards the Ronald McDonald House,” remarked David Jacobsen, CEO of the Augusta chapter. “This year, the contributions reached $17,000, which will cover 125 family night stays. It’s the generosity and compassion of our community that makes this possible, and we are immensely thankful to McDonald’s and Johannesen’s Sporting Goods.”
Contributing further, the Thomson High School Cheerleading team added $2,000, elevating the total donation to $17,000 for the Ronald McDonald House.
