In a sneak peek of the latest episode of The Valley: Persian Style, the iconic trio from the original Shahs of Sunset—Mercedes “MJ” Javid, Reza Farahan, and Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi—find themselves navigating through old tensions that are making their way back to the surface.
Javid extends an invitation to Farahan and Gharachedaghi for her twilight open house, expressing her hope for a gathering filled with “love and support.” However, she reveals the event will take place at the home of Gharachedaghi’s sister, Leila, which prompts Gharachedaghi to quickly decline, stating, “I don’t think I can make it that day.”
The stakes are high for Javid as she ventures back into the real estate market. Her return has been slow, with financial pressures mounting, yet her determination remains undeterred. In the previous episode of The Valley: Persian Style, Javid and her boss, the seasoned Bravolebrity Mauricio Umansky from The Agency, discussed ways to enhance her business. This led Javid to plan a twilight open house at Leila’s property. Umansky’s offer to attend and evaluate her performance has added extra pressure for her to succeed.
The teaser for Episode 7 shows Javid reaching out for support from friends and her husband as she navigates her career challenges. However, this pursuit inadvertently stirs up unresolved personal issues.
Gharachedaghi expresses discomfort over Javid’s choice of venue, noting that her relationship with her sister is currently “nonexistent.” She tells Javid, “You’re overstepping by throwing the twilight at my sister’s house and inviting me to it.” In a candid confessional, Gharachedaghi reveals lingering resentment over Javid’s friendship with her sister, stating, “She overstepped a decade ago when she decided to become best friends with my sister, knowing the dynamic between my sister and I.”
Javid asks Gharachedaghi, “So you’re not gonna come?”
“Absolutely, I’m not gonna come,” Gharachedaghi responds, “It’s my family, back off!”
Gharachedaghi moves the topic of conversation away from herself to ask whether Javid’s husband, Tommy Feight, will be in attendance at her twilight open, knowing that Farahan and Feight also have unresolved tensions. “He doesn’t feel comfortable around everybody that’s there,” explains Javid, to which Gharachedaghi responds, “That’s a good excuse. I don’t feel comfortable being there.”
In a show of maturity, Farahan then offers to text Feight and see if the pair can “move past this” for his friend’s sake. Gharachedaghi laughs at the offer, resulting in a defensive, “Why are you laughing? I’m being sincere,” from Farahan, to which Gharachedaghi responds mockingly, “You wanna text Tommy right now? Oh yeah, I encourage it.”
No clear resolution seems to come from either conversation, with Javid declaring, “Let’s put the twilight on ice.” To find out what happens next and who shows up to the twilight open, tune in to new episodes of The Valley: Persian Style on Bravo on Thursdays at 9/8c, or stream on Peacock the next day.
