Savannah Guthrie and her siblings have released a second video, which reportedly alludes to another note concerning their missing mother, sent on Friday.
This latest video, featuring Guthrie along with her brother and sister, emerged just a day after a previous note was sent to Tucson-based television station KOLD. According to three unnamed officials familiar with the investigation, authorities are currently examining whether this note and the earlier one originated from the same source and if they were sent by someone involved in Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance.
Sources indicate that the Guthrie family is aware of the ongoing investigation into both the notes and the broader case. Details of the second note, however, have not been made public.
In the video posted on Instagram on Saturday, Savannah Guthrie voiced a heartfelt plea: “We received your message, and we understand. We beg you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her. This is the only way we will have peace. This is very valuable to us, and we will pay.”
Nancy Guthrie, aged 84, was reported missing from her Tucson residence last Sunday morning after failing to attend church. According to Pima County police, her last confirmed sighting was on the evening of Saturday, January 31.
As of Monday, no suspects have been identified in Nancy Guthrie’s suspected abduction.
